13 strong šŖtoday at Carmel High. Chiclets joined us DR from Omaha and Priorities and Honest Abe were back to visit. We also welcomed FNG Leafy Greens. Weather was perfect Carmel Summer. Overcast but this time a little warmer than normal. It felt great to have Priorities and his 2.0 back. Like he said… it felt like home.

After Flea tagging an F3 nations failure blog post last week YHC read a few of the Leadership Development Process (LDP) blog posts on f3nation.com. Failure is a key part of it all. So the first half of this beatdown was all about failure and the second all about bringing the Pax together.

Warm up: run a lap. Californication arrived late and missed the lap… letās do another lap. No more late comers which disappointed YHC cause YHC knew what was coming and would rather have run more laps.

The thing:
Pax does all these together, in cadence, all the way to failure. Once you canāt do it any more you start running sideline to sideline encouraging the rest of the pax to keep going. To failures included: plank jacks, monkey jumpers, SSHs, LBCs, and finally plank.
Mosey to hill where we will do Bobby Hurlees at the top and Monkey Humpers at the bottom, as a group. Run backwards up the hill to Feel the Bern. Start at 5 and increase reps by 5 each time. First person to hit count calls it and entire PAX runs together.
Finally a little fun with a double elimination ping pong tourney. While 2 pax play each other rest of Pax does burpees, then SSHs and finally Al Gores for the final point. Congratulations to Burgundy who came out on top this week.
Warmup:Ā Some mumblechatter, the Carmel boys swim team was warming up on the opposing side line. So these old men took this as a challenge and lined up to ācompeteā against these young whipper-snappers! SSH ā 35 IC Hairy Rockets ā 25 IC Cairoca to the 20 yard line and back.
THE THANG Originally this was planned for down the field, however the Q modified to go sideline to sideline. This was to avoid the Carmel High swim team, we didnāt want a game of chicken developing!
-Partner coupon sprints. One pax would walk the coupon to the opposing sideline, gently set the coupon down and sprint as fast as they could back to the sideline. Once pax 1 reached the starting sideline, pax 2 would sprint to the coupon; retrieve said coupon and carry the coupon back to the starting sideline. All pax experimented carrying the coupons in different fashions, such as goblet, overhead, arms straight out, and shoulder carries. Lather rinse and repeat till all pax had completed 10 iterations. -200 cumulative partner goblet squats with the coupon. -Inch worm suicide / mosey. Starting at the 50 yard line all pax would inch worm 10 yards, then mosey back to the 50 yard line, then inch worm 20 yards, mosey back to 50 yard line. Lather rinse and repeat till all pax had completed inch worming 50 yards. -COP with a round of failure to launch. Failure to launch is a slow 8 count copperhead squat, with a squat jump, we completed 8 rounds before the first pax was unable to launch off the ground. -50 yard all out sprints, followed by a 50 yard walk back to the starting line. Lather, Rinse and Repeat for a total of 5 sprints.

1 partner bear crawls to 25 and back while partner does Elf on a Shelf with the coupon. Once partner gets back from bear crawls switch places. Repeat again.

Bears and Blocks – 1 partner bear crawls to 25 pulling coupon along the way while other partner crab walks to 25. Switch at 25 and go to 50. Switch back to 25 and switch again to goal line.

Partner up. One partner planks while other partner does as many LBCs as they can – then switch. Repeat for Moantain Climbers, Merkins.
